The first leg of our trip was driving to Queenstown, where we'd depart the following day.
The lake is amazing all year around, and in any mood. It's always freezing cold though.
After packing all our bags and loading the car, we had a flat battery. Luckily the wait for AA didn’t take long. We stayed the night near Queenstown and had a lovely sunset.
We flew to Sydney, then Dubai, then into Germany.
